Every supporting act needs to work hard. The Stripe Tray by pattern maestro and long-time Hem collaborator Arthur Arbesser is just such a household tool. The Stripe Tray is made using a traditional technique in Southern Sweden, where layers of birch veneer and a printed paper motif are molded together using heat and pressure. A laminated melamine surface means that the Stripe Tray is as resilient as it is attractive. Much more than a merely functional kitchen object, whether casually lent against a work surface, stacked upon a countertop or in use safely delivering drinks or dinner to their destination, the Stripe Trays bring undiluted color and graphic impact wherever they go.
