Grinder Vertical, Beech Natural, Art. no. 31440
Design by Fabien Cappello
Think of the Molino Grinder as a functional sculpture for your tabletop. This super-sized utensil is efficient at granulating salt, pepper and spices, and its blown-up form is a graphic monument for your dinner table, too. Molino is a characteristically exuberant design from Fabien Cappello whose work reflects the energy and vivacity of Mexico, where he lives and works. The hand-painted, striped Molino grinders are made from turned solid beech wood and finished with high-gloss lacquer, while the solid beech Molino grinders are finished with a sheen lacquer to bring out the beauty of their natural properties.

Verified buyerMolino Grinder Horizontal, Green / MagentaThese are expensive for sure,
These are expensive for sure, but I gave them a shot as I knew they would be a marvelous sculptural centerpiece for my dining table. Not only are they bold and beautiful, but very well designed: they are easier to load to than other mills I’ve owned, and the grind is very satusfying. I have the green/magenta and honey/blue. They have been a huge hit with houseguests and my 3yr old alike:)

It sits in my minimal concrete kitchen like a beacon. Big, bold with solid functionality and high-end finish. Sayonara to 40 years of design conviction. Simple eye-candy and I love it.
